The Classic Cover Insurance 2017 Pre-49 National event kicks off on Thursday, 17th February 2017 and we have lots in store for participants. There are runs on the Friday & Saturday, with Prizegiving on Saturday evening. There will be plenty to keep you occupied!

 

Over the next few months we will be releasing more information, but suffice to say for now that we have a few tricks up our sleeve that will again lift the bar for what has become a very special event on the hot rod calendar.

UPDATE - PRE-49 NATIONALS 2017                                         4th August 2016

Oceanside Street Rods would like to thank our Sponsors and all of the dedicated Pre-49 Hot Rodders who have entered for the Classic Cover Insurance 2017 Pre-49 Street Rod Nationals.  

There has been a massive response for this event demonstrating the true, strong following of Pre-49 street rod movement in New Zealand with what we are sure will be a fantastic weekend to look forward to.  We are also thrilled to announce the event has drawn two American cars to New Zealand as guests and confirmed entries for our Nationals.

 

The response has been overwhelming. Your support has been significant and Oceanside Pre-49 Committee would like to thank all of you who have entered and also importantly our Sponsors support todate.  

 

 We have had to make a cut-off point for the event, entries have now reached capacity and have closed as from 15th July 2016.  In excess of 180 of the finest Pre-49 Street Rods in New Zealand will be attending the event in Taupo.

 

The organisers are very sorry to advise they can no longer accept enquiries for the waiting list for this event.  Those that are already on the waiting list may be accepted subject to any cancellations received.

Over the weekend's programme there will be a Public Display of these beautiful Pre-49 Hot Rods on Saturday 18th February 2017 from 10am-2pm at Riverside Park, Taupo.
